Happy Birthday!!
(We're ready, Mr. Music . . . ) Happy Birthday to you. Happy Birthday to you. Happy Birthday dear Heather and David. Happy Birthday to you!! (Don't forget to sing the high soprano part on the last phrase.) Ah yes, February 6th is here again. One of our favorite days of the year. What would we do without Heather and David in the family?

I remember how Dad and I went out to dinner a few days before David was born, and I remember saying somthing like this: "In a few days, our lives will change, and things will never be the same again." That was an understatement--things have just gotten better and better throughout the past 34 years!
Happy Happy Birthday Children Dear...I'm glad Mom posted this because if she hadn't I would have. (I was getting tired of seeing my Christmas present ideas every time I checked out this blog.) Anyway, I hope it was a good one for y'all. And many more.
I remember when I was little I would get almost as excited for David and Heather's birthday as I would for my own. As I think back I'm actually not quite sure why. hmmm.
